Cholesterol Triglycerides
Cholesterol/HDL Ratio (Calculation) Very Low-Density Lipoprotein (VLDL) (Calculation)
HDL Cholesterol, Direct  

Testing Algorithm:

If triglycerides are >200 mg/dL, a direct LDL will be performed at an additional charge.

Specimen Type: Plasma or serum

Container/Tube: Light-green top (lithium heparin gel), gold or tiger top (serum gel)

Specimen Volume: Full tube

Collection Instructions: Fasting (12-14 hour)
