Specimen Type: Bronchial lavage or washings, induced sputum, lung tissue, tracheal aspirate

Container/Tube: Screw-capped, sterile container

Specimen Volume: Entire specimen

Collection Instructions:

1. Label container with patient’s name (first and last) and date and actual time of collection.

2. Maintain sterility and forward promptly.

Additional Information: Specimen source is required.
